Stash — Terms of Use

Last updated June 17, 2026

These terms cover your use of Stash, a cash-stuffing budgeting app. By using Stash you agree to them.

1. The app

Stash helps you budget by hand using the cash-stuffing (envelope) method. You enter your own amounts and transactions; Stash never links to your bank and never moves real money. It is a personal tracking tool.

2. Not financial advice

Stash provides tools, projections, and suggestions (e.g. pace, forecasts, suggested amounts) for your own planning. These are informational only and are not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Your money decisions are your own.

3. Stash Pro subscription & billing

Stash is free to use with core features. Stash Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription offered as Yearly (with a 7-day free trial) or Weekly.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Each subscription renews automatically for the same price and period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.

Subscriptions and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms; we do not process payments or see your payment details.

4. Your responsibilities

Use Stash only for lawful, personal purposes. Don’t attempt to break, abuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service or other people’s data. You are responsible for keeping your device and any sign-in secure.

5. Privacy

Your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. In short: no bank link, no tracking, no selling — and you can erase everything from Settings.

6. Disclaimers & liability

Stash is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee the app is error-free or that projections will match real outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; we’ll change the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, note it in the app. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
